Default Wilma Got Lucky!!

I drove Wilma (wife's XF) to work today & wife doesn't enjoy Fred (6 speed)...so she took her 90 year old mother out shopping in our 2006 Chevy HHR....she just called....no injuries...but probably totalled.

Wow, talk about luck. Glad the bowtie took the hit instead of the crossfire, but sux that it had to happen. Hope there arent any hidden injuries crop up later.

Thank God your Wife and her Mother are OK, that's the only thing that's important.. Well....... I hope the other person is doing OK too, (and has insurance).

Is there a Chrysler logo on the side of this vehicle?

Everyone is OK, she's been talking about getting a SUV since we have a 4 month old grandchild now....

You're a lucky man: wife, mom-in-law, and Crossfire all ok.

Wow, here it Thursday (the accident happened last Sunday) & the other driver has not yet contacted her insurance company. Neither insurance company will authorize the initiation of the repairs till her insurance company speaks with her????? I want a rental car that should be paid for by her insurance company (USAA).....but till they accept liability that isn't going to happen. I would go ahead and get a rental, but who knows how she'll be able to weasel out of the blame??? I have $1000 deductible on my insurance with no rental rider.....

The estimate is about $7K....& will probably take 3 weeks after one of the insurance companies authorizes the repairs.

I would be calling my agent and finding out what HE is doing to get the other side on board and why your insurance isn't getting the repair started.... that IS why you pay them... it is their job to go after the other insurance company...
