new srt-6 owner and lucky day
new srt-6 owner and lucky day
Greetings - I am a mercedes nut who could not resist the great prices of the crossfire! I found a black srt-6 roadster up in Louisville and purchased it on Memorial day. As soon as I got in the car I knew I was in an MB - my hands just naturally went to all functions and the fit and finish are superb. There is nothing like it at this price. I have been watching the forum and it seems like a real pro group so I know the price is helpful - $32,300, with nav and 300 miles - it is one of the new ones - sorta - '05 - what an odd car purchase! It is amazing on all levels and anyone who complains about anything on these cars that got one at these prices is nuts! Will it be a collectable? Maybe but if that is your intention, sell now, it will be a long time before it goes up from here - or that would be the historical equation.
Wow - what a price for all this technology and fit and finish! And why a lucky day? I took it up to the lake house this afternoon and got pulled over going 80 in a 60 and the officer just gave me a warning! I look forward to being a good citizen of your site - and will be making inquiries to the value of the extended warranty which I have 30 days to buy - Oh - knowing mercedes well- they will have their parts for this car for the next 100 years.

AHHH MANNN! I need to talk to mom about taking too many SRT6 Black Roadster fertility pills. I thought twins were enough kids. But now, now they seem to be hatching like turtles scrambling to the open seas. Where have they all been hiding.
I think DC has been holding back. I think there just might need to be a resurrection. Too many people are finding out what gems these XFires really are...
Congrats!
PS - You will find yourself spending countless hours cleaning your ahem mistress. I highly suggest the first thing you buy is a set of Rotex Gold brakes. The stock brakes will drive you batty, because of the dust they create on the front rims.
