I need to find a new key FOB case! Help?
I just bought my crossfire and so far I AM LOVING IT! The only problem is the key that I have is really beat up and nasty looking. I'm wondering if anyone has an old key that is in good shape they would sell to me. I found one replacement shell on ebay from a company in Taiwan but I'm a little worried about quality and turned off by the shipping time. Any ideas are welcome! Thanks!
I bought some "Chrysler Crossfire" key fob shells from a seller named "artiway" on eBay, they came in about a week. They are black and not exactly the same quality as the originals but if you are easy with it that should not be an issue. Just my two cents, if you would like pictures Pm me and I will be more than happy to send some.

eBay - New & used electronics, cars, apparel, collectibles, sporting goods & more at low prices
I did mine and it worked out great, buying a new case means that you do not have to take apart two cases that are glued together and risk damaging and breaking the new case.
The new one snapped apart easily and my old one was destroyed when I took it apart.
Use these instructions on how to do it.
Key fob repair.
You need to replace all the internal components as only the case is usable on the used keys.

The fob is as good as the original I'd say, black with a Mercedes Benz logo on the back.
Much easier install than when you have to pry apart the newer case and the same with the old case. As I said the old case had tons of cement on it and came apart in pieces.
A lot of the listings show white lettering but they do not arrive that way. The cases I ordered from two different sellers both depicted white lettering but ended up looking like what onehundred80 described. Overall much better deal than getting a new one from Chrysler which is what I did when I first bought my Crossfire.

I guess so but be careful you do not get any on your hands or you might look a bit like Edward Scissor hands but with a key.
I'd use the super glue for plastic.

I'm going to give it a go and will check back later with the results.

Answer a later thread, there is a current one from the last week or so. Just put fob in ‘Search’.
You can get them $5 cheaper if you search and two for $15 in another search on eBay, all proven to fit and work well by forum members

The two for #15 was on here at about the same time.
I’ll look for them both, back some years I got a two nice ones for $7 each but prices go up.
