On wednesday of this week, my wife asks me to take her shopping, so looking for any excuse to ride my Roadster on a beautiful day, I oblige.

The mission is Chico's at the Lakeside Villages Shopping Center, in Lakeland Florida.

When I pull in the parking lot, I do a double take, as there is an exact replica of my Xfire sitting there, with an empty spot next to it...

Anyone care to venture on the odds of something like this.

My car is on the right, with the Kool Rims, and the boss looking on:

 

well, you're in FL, where a goodly percentage probably are, and of those a good % would be roadsters. That narrows the odds quite a bit. that it's a nice day, and one wants to take his for a ride would seem likely that another would also want to take a ride, further narrowing the odds. Then you have the relatively limited color selection, so that further narrows the permutations, and the real question is what are the odds of finding an open parking space?

 

And the both of you have an orange on your license plate. ****'s getting serious

Jeez!! look at the width of your parking bays, nowhere near as wide here in UK.

 

Kind of along the line I was thinking, why aren't they both parked out in the back forty...

 

Geez, another post goes off topic. The OP asked "what are the odds?" Well based on your location in Florida, the number of licensed SSB roadster's DMV has registered, and the number of available parking spaces at that time of day in your community

---- the odds are 1:55,354. Give or take.

Florida is a XF state so your odds were probably best here. I know where 2 just like yours live within 5 miles of my house. I see so many a day. The only time that its fun is when I see another forum member.

About a year ago I got on I 15 for nine miles to work, and pulled next to an exact doppelganger of my car. A mile later a red coupe joined us on the next entrance. Then a white coupe pulled up from behind, and we all drove the next five or six miles together. Garnered a lot of looks. From what I've seen around here, that must have been all four Xfire coupes in Las Vegas (or even Nevada).
