Yes, I did search first and yes I did find alot of helpful info about diameter size and what not. However, I never saw a definitive answer from recent time.
Sooo will Mercedes Benz Caps fit on the base and limited models? I read someone said they only fit on Srt-6 models, but that thread was back in 2008. So not sure if that still applies and I want to run with mercedes caps on my base model wheels so I can show of my lugs since I just plasti dipped my wheels black and I think the wheels look better with the lugs exposed. Thanks for any helpful info!

 

I have seen some modified stock caps done but none that show the lugs. The limited wheels were not designed to have the little center caps so I don't think there is anything made specifically to directly fit in the hole properly. You could do measurements on the hole to see if you can find a random cap the right size to fit but I don't remember there being a little lip or anything to allow one to snap in place, you would have to figure out a way to keep them attached as well.

 

no i know for a fact that you can buy mercedes center caps that just fit over the hub of the wheel so the lugs are still showing. there are 2 old threads from 2008 that show pictures, so I know its possible. However, the center caps were only on srt6 wheels, so just want to make sure the diamter of the cap isnt any different if anyone else knows?

 

QUESTION SOLVED! Took the center cap off my dads Mercedes 2008 E350 and tried putting it on my base wheel and it was to big. SO I guess it will only fit on the SRT-6
