Default air vent does not stay put when hot

OK,

anyone else have this issue? My passanger next to the door is always pointed up... if you move it it just goes back to all the way up... after the AC has been running a while it holds it's place.

I am going to call the dealership and ask them how they want to handle it.

LOL... I've never even checked.

Mine is usually pointed up - in my case because my usual passenger and I have WAY different temperature zones...

I'll keep my eye on it during the ride home.

Doesn't your usual passenger realize they can adjust the temperature setting for the passenger zone???

Actually we did that once - and I was pleasantly surprised with the way the system handled it.

Full AC on my side - full heat on hers. Made for an interesting ride home...

Yeah, it was kinda cool! Must have been about 65/ 66 degrees on my side of the car. I stuck my arm over to her side, and it was nice and toasty - at least 80.

That's actually good information! I wouldn't have thought the climate control system would be that good.
