My 05 Base Coupe was wrecked. The body shop has all the parts they need except a hood. Anyone know where I can find one? ... in or around the Chicago area would be ideal, but, I'll take one from anywhere I can find one.

 

I believe there are a few fiberglass one's left out west for sale...nice price too Mad_Med05X I think is still selling a few left overs... There's a thread about...

 

I too believe he has a couple of the stock hood style left.....

 

I have an Aero Blue hood in Elburn, IL Far west suburb of Chicago between St. Charles and DeKalb if you are not familiar with the area.

 

There's your hood, and not even in the hood...but the 'burbs....Bryan will take care of you...

 

LOL, thanks Doc. I like my little farming Village I live in. We just went over 5000 residents so now we have elected officials rather than appointed.

 

I'm in Elburn all the time. Excellent riding out that way.

I'll call the shop Monday morning. If they didn't get a hood, we'll figure out how to get yours. They could probably send out one of their flatbeds to pick it up.

Oops, me too...I need a hood also....I'm over here on the east coast but I'll take it from anywhere! Why does the srt6 have a different part number for the hood...is it different?

It's not different - bolts right on. I hope someone has one for you. I know, going through the normal channels (Chrysler, junk yards) hoods are very rare at the moment.
