Talking Million Dollar Collections - Jim Taylor

Yesterday, Molly and I DVRed a show called Million Dollar Collections, and this particular show featured Jim Taylor of 'Taylor made' golf equipment. His collection was quite impressive with 30+ jaguars, including an E and D type that were absolutely beautiful and an SS100 that was PERFECT. He had ferraris, astons, vipers, vettes, etc.

Then I see it. A crossfire coupe. It was an SSB coupe, so his taste can't be as good as I thought but good none the less. It was parked between a older ferrari and a WS6 Trans Am in one of the coolest garages I have seen in a long time.

Just goes to show you, people with taste and class do not care if something depreciates or is not the 'in' thing, they appreciate classic beauty and I think the XF belongs right where it was sitting...

Now that I go back and look at that thread I can see why you posted another one.

Damn it.

I searched for Jim Taylor and found nothing. I thought if anyone had already posted it, they would have, at minimum, included the collection owners name, especially since it was Jim Taylor.

New thread fail.

It's honestly not a bad idea to start another one.

I told you our crossfires were exotic. Now don't you wish you kept yours. When the cross goes up in value you will wish you had it back. You will be one of those guts that say "i had one just like it". My dad does that everytime he sees an old Corvette.

in '72, my wife had a Jag XKE V-12.... I used to chase her around in traffic from time to time in my old L-82 Vette... just to peeve her off... She was married to someone else at the time...lol... Long story...but, I bet she wished she still had that car... It would be nice to just collect them. But, I would have to drive them from time to time...keep the rust out of the mufflers....

There was also many non-exotic cars in his collection as well. I don't think an early 2000s A6 Audi in stock form is an exotic either, but it was parked in the collection
