Eurocharged NA Software and Remote cable sale!
Just made the purchase! Can't wait very excited!!
I found the shipping price of the tuner cable to be a bit excessive though - $69.53 (I am in Australia but still shouldn't cost this much...)

Could someone please advise me if the eurocharged purchase is in USD or another form of currency as it does not display on the website or invoice?
I payed from Australia using AUD currency but pretty much got charged the full amount, I thought i'd save atleast $10 or more when I do a quick current currency conversion of USD to AUD or perhaps I am missing something here... Just does not seem right?

Jake, loaned the cable to Valk for a tune, and it didn't work.
Shouldn't be any difference between a an N/A and SRT....
What's up with that? It tuned 2 SRT's with 0 problems. Anyway, he is shipping it back and I will check it out...
I will need a couple of re-tunes soon...

Then I received another cable from Eurocharged (Jerry) and it did work.
Just had Adam reflash my car this afternoon
It's time for a re-tune so I would just need the cable right? I had mine tuned 2 years ago when the guys came down to South Florida. My dyno numbers were a disappointing 189 for my 2004 N/A with very minor mods but it sure doesn't feel like 189 when I step on it.
I was told that you should always deduct about 20% from the factory specs when figuring the "real" HP for an engine?
Btw, I haven't logged in for quite some time so if Randy and Jim are still around here then let me take this time so say a quick hello to the old crew and all the new XF owners who have joined since my hiatus.

I wish! the tiny profit on the cable doesn't really do much for our bottom end lol..expecially when we are replacing them or shipping new one at our cost!
I am scheduled for a week from today, thanks Adam for getting me squared away.
I will report back on the difference between a 3+ year old canned tune and a tune based on my current mods...

I have to admit I feel no noticeable difference with the reflash but then I had a Eurocharged Dyno tune 3 years ago at their shop and got about an extra 20HP to the wheels from that.
It was said that there have been some good changes with the tune, so it would be a good idea to go through this process.
Just thought a reflash might even improve it a bit more.

Ordered my tune this weekend - one question, how does this affect gas mileage? I'm sure it depends on how you drive the car post-tune, but does the tune itself affect mileage positively/negatively?
I only use 93 from a reputable brand and I usually get nearly 30 on the highway and right around 20-21 in the city, and that is with some pretty aggressive driving and mods...
Had my tune last week, and I have to say, I'm having trouble noticing any difference in the performance of the car. Is there any way to confirm that it was flashed with different parameters? I have a single CAI with a 74mm throttle body for mods, but that's it.
see below.....or reset the battery. (will not remove the tune) Can you verify no leaks in the tb? Did you do a tb reset after install?do a pedel reset. The car remembers your driving habits (sneeky sneeky) and will nuter you accordingly!
If anyone needs me shoot me email to jake@eurocharged.com The forum doesn't alert us to new posts.
Oh man forgot....also we EXTENDED the sale though the end of the month as a few missed it. Get it while you can!!!!!
I've done a throttle reset and pedal reset, and when I installed the new intake and throttle body I made sure to get a new gasket for the throttle body. The elbow to the throttle body and intake is tight on both ends. I'll double check when I get home and will also leave the battery disconnected for half an hour or so. If that doesn't fix it I'll shoot an email over.
