Default BP Gas Contamination

It is reported that BP gas distributed from a Whiting, Indiana storage depot is contaminated, and may cause hard starting, non-starting, or severe system problems. If you suspect that you may have purchased gas from BP in Indiana or Michigan or even Illinois, between 8/15 and now, call BP at 1-800-333-3991 customer service. There is a report that repairs run about $1200. Just sayin.....

Edit: Just heard from a friend of my wife, who bought gas from BP at Milwaukee and Harlem (Niles, Illinois) last week, and had severe stalling and starting problems. She had her car repaired? for the cost of $540 plus. I gave her the 800 number to try to open a case (maybe).

Is this because they did not get all the sand out of the recycled oil from Gulf spill?

%$$#%@. Those 50 shares of BP I bought on my broker's advice just before the Gulf oil spill just keep getting more and more valuable. I might as well sell them and buy a set of tires before they are good only for an oil change.
