Default Spoiler Drooping

Hey Guys, I think I have noticed that while I am driving above 60mph,when I look in my rearview mirror my spoiler appears to droop down and I catch it as it seems to pop back up after accelerating. Is this possible or am I just seeing things? Thanks.

Sounds like it needs Viagra or Cialis..................

Never heard of this condition before. Maybe it starts a cycle down mode and then cycles back up to full deployment. Not sure why, but maybe the speed sensor is haywire.

Mine sticks straight out proudly, never faltering at all speeds even when stopped. I've often heard it referred to as an ironing board, surfboard, skateboard...........

I actually like the look of the Crossfire with the spoiler down. I love the look of the sexy curves going down the back of the car and in my opinion when its up it takes away a little of the look I like. But I understand the spoiler is designed to deploy at the speed it does due to the design of the car and retract back down when its not needed. Hopefully I'll figure mine out. Thanks.

I thought I noticed mine moving on my way to work a few weeks ago... turned out to be a reflection of a sign that went over the freeway.... Not sure if it helps...

With mine, my thinking was that if the spoiler was "Snapping back up" as it appeared to be doing... I would have heard it hit the stops... so I paid attention the next couple of signs I went under and the way the reflection ran accross the spoiler, it looked like it dipped, and snapped back up.. a few signs later, I confirmed it...

Not saying this is your problem... but I hope so... I know I was relieved.. LOL

Good Luck

Ok guys, I found out what was happening. Today as I was driving along the freeway I watched as I drove below the overhead signs. Sure enough, as I drove under these thats when the spoiler would catch the reflection and appear to me as it is lowering down and back up. Im very relieved that was whats was happening. My Crossfire is very shiny as I waxed it the other day, so my spoiler was just catching the reflections.. Im glad I dont have any problems with the spoiler. Thanks.

Have you been blinded by the sun reflecting off the spoiler back at you thru the rearview mirror? Ye-ouch!!!
