Thumbs down broken driver's visor

ok...I'm just venting...ignore me if you want...but i'm REALLY REALLY sick of replacing my driver's visor...hanging there in my face like a wet noodle currently...plastic piece of crap...THIRD one in the six years that I've had the car... and i live in Seattle where there is virtually no sun...what the?

If you're so persistent on having car sex, try keeping it contained to the passenger seat. Body parts go flailing and interior trim starts breaking.

Maybe i should start charging more to cover parts and labor for interior repairs.

Man I hate it when that happens!

Are you gently pulling on it... or just slapping at it till it's where you want it?

ive learned to be very gentle with them over the years...but they still break...right now i have a binder clip holding it in place...otherwise it hangs right in front of my face. Ive got it where i want it for now.

My second one broke 6 months ago (yr 2005). Paid about $60 used for it, can't find one for less than $80 used now. If you find out if it's fixable, let me know!

i haven't tried to fix them...i don't have the time. just keep replacing them...i have two passenger sides stashed...but naturally since i rarely have a passenger.. they aren't the ones that keep breaking...got some through a junkyard, but they still aren't cheap. good luck.
