Question Can anyone advise please?

Hi

I am seriously considering buying a crossfire, but know very little about them. The car I am looking at is a 2004 coupe priced around £5000 with 70,000 miles on the clock. Does this seem reasonable? It seems to be in really good condition, but I am a bit concerned about servicing and parts as they have been out of production for 5 years. I would appreciate any advice.

Many thanks

AndyE

If it's in really good shape, $8K American seems OK

Do lots of reading here.
Then you can make an educated decision.
I loved mine so much that when it was totaled I got another one.

Yes, they're good cars.
Yes, they can be expensive to maintain.
No, you will not regret buying one.

Let me add.. Thanks to this forum! With the prices of dealer repairs it probably wouldn't take too long for a for sale sign to hit the windshield if they were my only opton to trouble shoot and repair anything that comes up..

As for parts and repairs. The mechanicals are Mercedese. Not to hard to find. The body and interior parts are another issue. They can be hard to find and expensive.
