Has anyone tried putting 18' tires in the back?
I'm in need of buying tires soon, came across that i'm quoted about $1000 for a set of 4 brand new tires. But since winter is here i better just stock on some tires that are cheaper, like used. Then buy summer tires later. But i know this really good used tire place where they just have 225/45/18 in stock. Has anyone ever tried putting those in the front or back yet? How did it feel and was there any differences?
You might find Walmart supplied Nexxen brand worth looking into.. I spent the money for General G-Max on rear last month.. looking to try the nexxen out on the front next month.
I have 17's all around for winter tires, and the car rides nice. It's looks like crap, but rides nice, and were cheap...

I keep a set of spare stock wheels with Continental DWS 295/30 and 225/40 tires on them. Since I only put them on the car when they're calling for snow, they've lasted a long time. Last year I even left the Hankook summer tires on and just changes the rears for grip without issues.
I was intrigued by the title of this post. I didn't know that you could fit an 18' (foot) tire on any vehicle, let alone a Crossfire. That would be a whale of a stagger. LOL
Wouldn't you need rear wheel steering with that mod ( since the fronts wouldn't touch ) ????????
There IS a thread on here somewhere with 2' Davins ( 24" ) - a real looker .....
