Or go with some OZ superlegga's for 17's they are 15.4lbs and 18's are around 17. something. Talk about making a difference. Where are all the people that bashed me from bring this up a few weeks ago. I guess the TT's sparked speed interests  Now time to put some gears in it what does it have stock for gearing?
There's a thread called "Gears!". Check it out.
I just want to be clear on this:
You would consider paying $800 per wheel to get a 1/2 second improvement on a 0-60 mph time? But then it is stated that lighter wheels may be unsafe?
That sure does not make a lot of sense to me...
This car was not designed to be a dragster. If that is what you want, go and buy one...
To me it sounds like this: I just bought a dishwasher for $550, but I really want it to wash cars. For $30,000 more I could make it a really cool car wash.
Why not just buy a carwash from the beginning?

I never said I'd spend $800 a wheel ! Real good light wt. wheels would Probably cost $800-1,000 a set. The HRE wheels I mentioned are custom made to order polished 2 piece. They told me they weigh apx 22 lbs. My guess was under on stock wt.but it doesn't surprise me. But if you get 1/2 sec. for better looks and performance that is an option instead of just a $425 chip. That could put you out of warrenty.
