Question 2004 Coupe For Sale

Hello all. I'm Nate. Just joined to help my father in law who will be selling a 2004 Crossfire coupe. It was my mother in law's but she passed away last year and he has decided not to keep it. I would appreciate any info you all can provide as to value of the car and any technical issues that I should look for. As far as I know everything on the car works fine. The car is grey with the charcoal black interior. It currently has just over 41K miles and is located in Jefferson City, Missouri. Thanks all. Your help is appreciated.

Hello Nate,

If it helps I just bought an 04 with 30K for 12K...Very clean original condition, but the tires need to be replaced at this time as well.

I believe this was a good price on one with this milage and condition. I am about a 4 hour drive North of you, so not so far away either. Hope this helps.

Regards, Kirk

As 300H&H jut related, $12K is a good price for the car. The market is soft right now especialy for an impractical two seater.

Don't let it go for less than $9K if you can help it.

I am gonna presume it is an Automatic. Post some pictures here and some interest mya develope.

I'm in St Louis so I'll ask around.

Thanks guys. I will try to post some pic soon. And Franc, if you scare up an interest in St Louis that would be good because a few of the vehicles that my father in law has looked at for replacing the Crossfire are at dealerships in St Louis so bringing it out there is certainly not out of the question.

Very sorry to hear about your mother in law.

A few weeks ago I drove a very clean 2004 6-spd with new tires and 28k miles at a dealer in Fayetteville, AR. They were asking $13,800, now down to $12,800. Edmunds puts it around $11,500 clean retail. My insurance company valued it slightly less than edmunds when trying to determine value on mine. Similar cars with miles in the 40-60k mile range seemed to be around $10-11k at dealers in the Springfield area. Private party value is going to be probably $1000 less than retail. People will pay more at a dealer. I said I was moving on to something newer, better suited to daily commuting... But a dark gray 6-spd might make me change my mind. BTW all these prices are for manuals. Autos would probably be $500-$1000 more. Just guessing...

Good luck either way...

Thanks Closer9,

We actually moved here to Jefferson City, MO from Fayetteville, AR about 3 years ago. I think my mother in law bought this one at a dealership in Siloam Springs but I'm not sure.
