Throttle RESET
Not to be mean.....but the search function will find it real fast....
They don't always work. Battery cable off is a sure thing. Key all the way on but don't start it, push throttle pedal to the floor for few seconds 5 sounds good, continue to hold pedal to the floor and turn key off. Do a 5 count and release pedal. Like I said, it doesn't always work. I like taking the positive cable off.
If you havent found it in the site technical files by tomorrow afternoon, I will take 5 and type it out for you here.
It is a simple sequence of keys on ign on, then throttle down, keep it there etc and throttle off, then keys off + stay put and touch NOTHING for 2 minutes, dont even open the door...
or some-thing like that, but I will find the exact sequence of things to do for you tomorrow - too darned cold out there now - and dark, the bit of paper with the sequence is under a seat..
The sequence has to be exact or it wont work... and it's worth doing every month or so to keep the throttle response a bit more perky..

Keep the key in for the entire process.
1) Turn the key to the on (not start) position, the position just before the starter turns over.
2) Press the gas pedal to the floor with the key in the "on" position.
3) Hold the pedal to the floor for five seconds, then turn the key back
to the "off" position (don't remove the key), then release the gas pedal.
4) Wait 2 mins. for a full alignment.
Summary: Key on, pedal down 5 sec, key off, pedal up, wait 2 minutes.
If this doesn't work, disconnect your neg. battery cable for 20 minutes.
This will re-set the parameters in the drive-by-wire
Throttle reset will only require ONE or OTHER, both will simply waste your time.
What is schieved with a "reset" is to reset the amount of throttle applied to the engine when added by the pedal...
After a month or so, the car learns how you drive and will dampen the pedal response near the tick-over end of the pedal movement...ie 30% of pedal movement may result in 5% throttle applied...
The reset brings the pedal and Butterfly ratios in sinc with each other and gives a crisp response...
if you have a manual transmission like mine, it is soooo much better after a reset, as it enables a double-de-clutching action to be faster and throttling action crisp and more accurate...
hope this is helpful.
