Plastidip. Has anyone seen this?
Re: Plastidip. Has anyone seen this?
Mr. Black Jackk has been the center of a couple posts here on the board so this is nothing new we should start a hall of shame with him as the first honorary inductee lol if you enjoyed that video check these out you will ROFL in the second video fast forward to the end around 2:50 and look how ridiculous the crossfire looks in motion, haha...
Gas Prices Near His Area:
87 Octane $3.59/GAL
89 Octane $3.79/GAL
93 Octane $3.99/GAL
But Mr. Black Jackk only uses "DA GAS"
I see this movie sweeping next years Oscars, can't wait for the sequel FOOD STAMPS NOW, WELFARE LATER in 3D!!!

At least he chose a nice subdued color so that everyone wouldn't notice how ugly that thing is. LOL I could never imagine screwing up such a beautiful car that badly, actually didn't realize that it was possible. He has reached new heights, to his credit he walks on untrodden ground!!!!

I am up for a blaze orange crossfire, but that is ridiculous.
I am planning to get the spray kit to do mine whenever I get the urge for change. It's stock black, but I have always wanted it white. Plasti dip will allow that for way less than a paint job, plus it just peels right off leaving your paint unharmed.
It doesn't need to be professionally done if you do your research first...get a good understanding of the process and tips from all the how to videos out there. Take your time with cleaning and prep work and it will likely turn out very good, plus you can said you did it yourself. If you mess up, peel it off and start over.
I know plenty of members on the HHR forum that have used it with great success, including full dips. There are plenty of options, and it holds up very well if done correctly. They even have metallics & pearlizer, add that with your mix through the spray gun and now you have more than just flat or gloss options. A little imagination and it can get really custom. I am currently waiting on an order of iron powder and rust activator, these combined with clear plasti dip will allow me to create a fake rust surface. It looks insanely authentic...very rat rod.
