Default Calling Out!

I have a Convertible Lexus SC430 that I am getting ready to paint after I ordered and installed a body kit on it from Japan.

A while ago I was searching over these threads and there was a picture of a pearl white Xfire on these forums. It had a hood scoop on it I believe and it was GHOST PEARL WHITE and absolutely gorgeous. It was parked in a long row with a bunch of other Xfires, I believe at some kind of show of some sort. When I read the thread the forums members knew the car because it belonged to one of the forum members.

I am trying to trace that particular car because that is the exact pearl I want to paint my car. If any one can assist me in finding the car and forum member so I can ask him white Ghost White pearl he used it would be greatly appreciated. Like I said I think the hood had a scoop on it. But I could be wrong.

In any even who has the prettiest GHOST WHITE PEARL custom painted Xfire who is a member of this forum? Anyone know?

SrWilliams, I believe that you are confusing my car with the one forum member "FTroop Chief" owns.
My car is the factory Alabaster, and I think he is the only Crossfire owner to have his car painted in "Pearl" white.

Just out of curiosity, couldn't you get a Lexus SC430 from the factory in white pearl?

You are correct. Indeed the lexus is already a white pearl. But since I put the body kit on it and I have to paint the car all over I want to up the ante and really put a ghost white pearl on it, something that is more brilliant than the factory pearl

John's car does not have a hood scoop. However, the color of the car is called snow white. John sold is NA and SRT6 last month.

Yes, John is FtroopChief. He has been very sick lately and I believe he is still in the hospital.

Bill, thanks for getting back to me on this matter. Okay then I saw pictures of John's car that out other forum member provided. Was there ever a picture of his car lined up with many other crossfires at some kind of event. I am wondering if it as his car I saw a picture on these forums that was a part of a group event. If it was the car was beautiful. It was a picture of the event on these forums

Did you see the car in person. Was the pearl brilliant on the car or not (iridescent is what i am looking for--that real pearly look).

One other thing. You said the paint was called Snow White, do you know who makes the paint---does it belong to a particular model car like mercedes, chevy, etc. I am going to try to find the actual paint but I need to know where to look

Valk:

Thanks for sending me the pictures. Since you saw the car in person was the pearl really irresdescent or pronounced. Did the car have a nice ghost effect. I am not looking just for a white car, but I really want the pearl pronounced. What impressions did you get of his pearl and who makes the Snow White pearl he had on his car

This is all I found on one of John's posts. "I have dubbed the Crossie "SNOW WHITE", The car was just repainted in June with HOK PEARL code "SNOW WHITE"

Maybe you can Google it to find out who has it.

It was really unique and had a beautiful metallic depth with a nice sparkle in the sunlight.
Hard to describe but a real eye catcher

I wish you could find out where the car has gone and see it yourself.
