Front Wheel Bent :(
I had purchased 4 new tires Conti. DWs', installed, aligned, and balanced. After driving them for about 2 weeks, I noticed a moderate vibration at 60-70 mph. I took it back to the tire shop, twice. The second time the tire guy telling me that my left wheel is slightly bent, and that it may be causing the vibration. So he recommended me to some guy who does excellent work for a low price. I might do it, but not sure if that is the solution. If anyone who may have a similar situation, and fixed it. What did you end up doing? This car is costing too much $$ in the long run lol. But it goes to show, every car will end up breaking down one point in it's life time!
Several years ago I bent both on same side due to the road had broke away. Had them straightened by "The Wheel Dr." here locally and like new again.
Had to have one on the front straightened and "trued" on my 04. I think total cost was around $70 due to the fact that they had to weld up and repair a hirline crack in the wheel. Thus far no ill effects and still rolling strong several thousand miles later
I bent my front drivers side wheel a few months back. Luckily i bought the tire/wheel warranty cause a new wheel cost over $600, lol. I also got a nail stuck in the sidewall of my rear Conti DWS which was also covered by the dealership.
Sorry, I don't have any real input
