Default Global Cooling...

I'm looking out the window at snowfall ......this has never happened in recorded history at this late date in Kansas City. We should all drive more & produce more greenhouse gases to stop this runaway global cooling! My asparagus finally started coming up a few days ago (very late due to record cold month)....& now it has snow on it????????

Don't worry about it.. It'll probably be so hot this summer.. next years snow won't stick from the ground heat!
Bright side to everything..

Sure wish Al Gore would have got it right. Not to worry it could be worse. I live in Alaska and the ground is still frozen at least four feet deep. Although the Crossies haven't been out of hibernation yet I did take my Goldwing for its first putz of the year last Sunday. It was a glorious 40 degrees with chunks of ice floating in the Cook Inlet, rivers still frozen and banks of a winters worth of snow beginning to recede from the shoulder of the roads.

Don't make a habit of sleeping in or you might miss summer.

Wrong. I was taught in Mrs. Rocky's 1972 science class that pollution "shaded" us from the sun and reflected heat back to space - causing a new ice age that was supposed to hit in my lifetime.

I'm 53 now, turns out, (according to you!) that my textbook was right - the ice age is here!

Are you suggesting Mrs.Rocky knew more than Al Gore?
