Forum member "Montana Crossfire" had what I thought were the best example.

(Gave the car a very "Viperish" look, especially with the Aero Blue color of the car).

Personally, I like them, some people don't. Remember, you're the only one you have to please.
Last year I had two cars with stripes, my 96 Viper GTS, and my 1969 AMX.
If my white Crossfire had a black, or grey interior, I'd consider installing a 1965 Shelby Mustang over the top stripe in blue. I'm not sure how the blue stripe would look with my Cedar/Slate interior though.
If you decide to do it, please post photos.

are you thinking of etching the back glass to follow the lines of the stripe? that sounds like a pretty interesting concept, definitely unique.. my problem with stripes is that the hood has its own pattern and angles for stripes that I feel you'd have to follow which might not translate over the roof and down the back...

Not factory but not uncommon. When aftermarket window slats are used, some people run the factory stripes over them.

gotchya, when you said etching I thought you meant the actual glass.

look around the gallery, there are stripes on a couple Crossfires but not all of them look good.. If I were to do anything, I would have the whole roof and rear wing be in one solid color along with the lines in the hood.. check out the pictures of my Carbon Fiber hood and you'll see that the center hood strakes line up pretty well with the roof and would carry all the way back pretty nicely
