What is a Crossfire you may ask?
Designed by Eric Stoddard at Chrysler for the 2001 Detroit Auto Show.
Built on the Mercedes-Benz R 170 Platform by Karmann in Osnabruck, Germany.
That’s right, 39% straight off the shelf M-B!
Available engines: 3.2L M112 E32(195 C.I.)
V-6 NA with 215hp/229Lb-ft torque.
Or the hand built 3.2L M112 AMG V-6 Supercharged with 330hp/310Lb-ft torque.
Available as a Coupe or Roadster with either 6-M or 5-Autostick transmissions.
Trim levels: Base, Limited, Special Edition, and last, but surely not least, the SRT-6.
Production years: 2003 to 2007 (although some were sold as ‘08’s.
Production numbers: 76,047, of these only 2,016 Coupes and 928 Roadsters were made as SRT-6.
