Hello, proud Crossfire owners! I have ledglow for my wheel wells and interior (I usually keep them on blue.) and I have blue Dome lights.There's this light covered with a piece of plastic in the trunk on the drivers side. I was wanting to change that annoying light that stands out from the rest of the car to blue. But I have no idea on how to remove the plastic. I would sooo very much appreciate it if someone could please help me or send me a DIY link on how to replace that light with different colored lights. I did the Dome lights my self so i'm sure I could do another DIY light problem. Please help me i've been dealing with this for awhile. (I'm sorry if this is a stupid question to ask.) It just has little tabs on the sides, if you just squeeze it together should come right out , other wise just pry it lightly from One side and it will pop out. Did all mine in red only because I do half my driving late night.

 

Thank you so much! can you tell me the name of the light that's suppost to replace it? for example the headlights use (H7 lights). And maybe could you tell me a autopart store that would sell it please?

 

There are ton's of "Threads" on here that will tell you what you are looking for. You sound new here, Welcome!!! The best thing for you to do is type what your looking for in the "Search" box, (stay on crossfire.org sites.) I know your just trying to replace your bulb. Take it out, take it with you to Most any auto parts store, it's called a festoon bulb, better yet call around for the LED festoon bulb with the color your looking for!!! But look around more on crossfire.org you will find much more you can do , like a trick to stop the seat belt beeping from going off ect... GOOD LUCK!!! I'd be glad to help with anything else!!! 36MM festoon manual says its a 44MM. JUST Remember to take it with you. I spliced into the wires and put in 12volt red strip lights that just peal and stick anywhere. I put 2 along the back carpet up high, looks and work great!!! I just tucked the wire I used under the trim. ( no bulb in festoon base just popped it back in, now I have a little bit of wire showing 2", but big deal, nice and bright red, that doesn't mess with my night vision!!! Did all my inside lights in red. Black 04' coupe owner here, btw check out the new crossfire emblems that peal and stick right over the old ones!!! I just got Batman ones, black coupe, tinted black windows, it's the Batmobile all the way, taking off and buffing out the crossfire letters on the back!! SOOOO MUCH TO FIND ON HERE!!!
