Anyone ever seen this.

Interested in your opinions about this car.
If it was an original startech i would have bought it today at that price, but i doubt it is.

Lets hear what good/wrong about this car.

 

First off, the Startechs came only with the 6.1 V8 Startech motor. The badges on the back are bogus. There was a 6.1 where the 2 fake Startech badges are and a V8 on the opposite corner. The rims are wrong too. They originally came with the one-piece Monostar V five-spokes. The rear diffuser was enclosed on the bottom and didn't have 4 exhaust tips showing. They were 2 ovals that were split in the middle of each oval. This is just a N/A that has had alot of add-ons applied. Probably what is most obvious is the fact that no one in their rightful mind would ever convert a rare Startech over to run LPG G3!

 

The radio is nice tough, but thats about it.

Guess ill be buying startech badges when i ever need to sell it. People are bidding pretty hard on it.

Doh, that's right. But never a 3.2L....

 

I think there were two Startech's in the UK, a coupe and a roadster. The coupe was on here a couple of times. They had the larger 3.8 V6 engine mentioned in Max's post.
I think I'll raise the value of my car by adding cheap stickers and I'll have a Startech SRT-6.

 

This is just a car with Startech stickers.

Startechs allways had the 3.8 litre engine. There was never a car with a 3.2 litre engine. Exhaust is not a Startech exhaust. Seats are definitely not in Startech quality. There's no Startech diffusor on the rear. Startech cars allways had the Brabus Monoblock wheels. The other bling bling on the car is not from Startech.

There is only one and only Startech 6.1 V8. That is the one on the photo above. And this is located in germany..

427 HP? Boy, that would be fun. I'd be able to blow the boy's SRT 8 off the road (470 hp @ 4200 lbs).

 

4200 lb car + 350 lb 6'4" driver = 4550 lbs )
you = 8.07 lbs / hp ( IF you had 427 HP )
you = 12.7 lbs / hp ( current estimate at 266 HP )
Austin = 9.68 lbs / HP

Bottom line : yea, you need to pack some more HP in that heap of yours before challenging him.

Yep! Those were my thumbnail figures, too, my friend!
I can still "run circles" around him, but not as much as last week. He got his full Hotchkis suspension installed last week. I get to try it out tomorrow!
