Default Pink Oily fluid leak

Ok, so I haven't driven my car for since Tuesday because I carpool to work. Well, since then there has been a steady leak of pink oily fluid coming from near the center of the car. It smells like oil but I've enever seen pink oil before.

I'm going to take it in for service but I'm just wondering if anyone else has seen this problem. Hopefully it's nothing big.

I bet you got an AutoTrans. There have been some other posts here about leaking transmission. Bad 'O' ring. Is your Xfire also an early 2005?

Bingo. It is an auto and the VIN is in the 27k range (very early '05). I would assume that this is not a hard thing to fix if that's what the problem is?

Apparently not but you can only hope that they get those 'O' rings right or a lot of people are going to be back to their dealer every year.
