Default inner fender liner question

Hi folks....new to the site. Mine is a 2005 coupe black ziebarted at 25K (that's when I got it) and now has less than 60K - ahh yes a garage queen. I also have a stupid step son who is not a gifted driver. Somehow (while he denies driving the car), he managed to run over something which broke the right front inner fender liner. New (yes its available) $767.15. Any advice or ideas on used part location?

Look here and you can see some much cheaper prices, also used ones are available from scrap yards.

Sell your stepson and use the proceeds to buy the inner liner. Win/win!

I agree 100%! Even if it will get you in trouble, BE HONEST!!! Unless you are talking to a bureaucrat, lawyer, or politician: then lying is OK

RockAuto Parts Catalog - select your car and year and look under "splash guard". They're just under 11 bucks.

Got a question any idea where I can find the retaining clips for the inner fender liner?

I have not come across any clips when I took out the liners, just screws.

Ok, thanks onehundred80, I was looking at this from the manual:

1. Install the splash shield onto the vehicle.
2. Install the two retaining screws from the lower side
of the rocker panel.
3. Install the five plastic retainer nuts and the five
retainer screws from the wheelhouse splash shield.
4. Install the left front tire and wheel assembly. (Refer
to 22 - TIRES/WHEELS - STANDARD
PROCEDURE).

Guess I should never assume...
