After driving an hour and a half north to retrieve my new (to me) Crossfire which i found for a steal on craigslist. I had visited the day before to check out the car and had to wait till today to pull cash and meet the seller. Upon my arrival, i realized the driver side mirror was twisted upright(as they do for tight fits) "It got hit" my dad nudged me with a joking grin....as we gaze upon my soon to be vehicle we notice the side reflector hanging from the body...."Oh no". My father was correct. Within the 24 hour period between finding my dream xfire and pulling the cash for purchase....it had been a victim of a hit and run. I am still in disbelief. I walked up to the owner's front door and had to break the news to him(as he was unaware of the collision). The xfire has an appointment in a few days and the owner promised me a price reduction. Sucks that i have to wait a little longer but everything happens for a reason.

If you are a Xfire owner: i advise you to park in your driveway. If you are the owner of a yellow(i can determine from paint marks on my injured soon to be vehicle) car with my black paint across the cab in the NC area: I will find you.... and i will kill you.

 

Sounds like a Yellow Cab driver had his eyes on home addresses rather than the road. Bummer. Squirrel Crusher
