One bright taillight, one dim
I have one bright taillight (right side) and one dim taillight on the left. Im assuming it's a bad connection? Gonna try and wire brush the metal on it. Also, any advice on how to get my balloon hands into the passenger headlight enclosure? I wanna take the radiator reservoir out but it is attached on the bottom. Help please!!!

The above info on the bulb being in the wrong way is correct, Max is never wrong. The wrong bulb and in the wrong way causes a lot of headaches.

To move the reservoir I sprayed under it at the attachment fitting with WD40, let it soak for a minute then grabbed the reservoir and pulled straight up on it. It is held by a bayonet type of fitting. You then just move it out of the way. You have to give it a good yank.

Could be a ground connection somewhere. Use a multimeter and measure ohms from the brown wire at the bulb connector to a known good ground point. Should read close to 0 ohms.
EDIT: in this case it appears the brown wire is NOT the ground wire, the BLACK wire is. Go figure.
