Comic strip Crossfire rip??!
Re: Comic strip Crossfire rip??!
It might simply be a rip of Daimler-CHrysler, but figured that most Americans wouldn't recognize the Daimler name? Or perhaps making fun of CHrysler for merging with Daimler? It's a strange and unfunny cartoon in my opinion...read Boondocks, Opus, and Foxtrot, those are generally amusing.

Went to the dealer the other day, and my salesman said he was the last one to sell a crossfire since I bought one. that was in June.
Re: Comic strip Crossfire rip??!
Someone please explain how the cartoon is making fun of Chrysler. Looks like the cartoon is aimed at making fun of Germany because of a history of trying to overtake others, hence the reference to Poland. The reference to Chysler seems more like it is refering to MB's original suggestion that it would be more or less an equal merger before they imposed their mgmt across the entire corporation. No? Definitely not a crack on the crossfire though.

Speaking of DCX and it's German component, here's some news just released today:

the srt-4 is very popular with very young drivers. that is also why they cost so much to insure. just look at the number of salvage titled ones on eBay. it let's you go real fast for real cheap. srt-4 buyers are willing to accept the looks of the car to meet their performance/cost goals, and some even like the sleeper concept (even though the exhaust note gives it a way).
