Groovy... did the dealership charge you a fee to program the key?

Since the key is ordered under your VIN#, no programmig is required. Read your owners manual about setting it. It works fine...no additional charges should be added!

I got mine from the dealer it took 6 days and cost 170.00. Then the jerk that traded it found the extra one.

Hey! $65.00 beats any price I've seen or heard of by a hundred plus change. Are you sure it is the elctronic key FOB and not just a valet key?

Master Key was ordered from Chrysler a week ago. Key was received within one week. Germany via Texas according to the parts guy. $171. Key was programmed simply by pressing unlock or lock button on keyfob twice, inserted key in ignitiion and started the XF. Key was then removed and the keyfob worked just fine.

B Brown, please post the number for the dealership. At that price, I'll take a third key.

Just don't loose the safe key at the same time as your main master key, then you would be stuck!
