38K miles and all i have had wrong is the rear hatch rattle (slight) that i'll adjust myself when i get the time. And a bad MAF sensor (that hasn't bothered me for a few weeks now) i'll replace that myself when and if i start stalling again. Other than that she is a fine road warrior.

I'm picking the car back up tomorrow after spending an entire week at the dealership. I will try to keep everyone updated on the interior light issue. I noticed it the same way you did chxf, the light went off so I started to tap it and it came back on. I have no clue what could have caused this. After a week or so it started to just flicker when I moved around in the car or the stereo hit a bass note.

BTW, I'm am still very upset with the dealer. The service writer joked about taking the car out for a spin when I called and I got extremely upset. The guy told me it was his first day when I dropped the car off and was making comments about taking it out for the weekend. I hope he knows I wrote the mileage down before I left and if it has changed more than 2 miles I am going knock some heads. I should have known better not to take the car to a dealership that changes staff more than the Taco Bell down the street. Its safe to say I will NEVER take my car back to GOEKE Chrysler-Dodge in Noblesville, In. (oh did I say that out loud, woops).

What a surprise, a week after I drop my car off and it is still not finished. Can somebody tell me why it takes an entire week to replace two headlamps, an interior light and a rearview mirror? I'm starting to think the bastards did take it out and wreck it. There is no other reason why it should take this long. I think it is horrible that I made the appointment over two weeks ago and they are "still waiting for parts!"

On a side note, the rental truck that I was given is being put to good use. Without the Chrysler premium plan I would have had to rent a U Haul to move. Instead I'm just using the Ram 1500 LWB. The only thing that sucks is the 10 MPG I seem to be getting, stupid lead foot.

not unusual on the wait. I put mine in the shop after calling for an appt and waited 3 1/2 days to get it back and all they had to do was replace a cam sensor.

I always bring the car in after they received the parts. Like this time, I'm waiting now about 2 weeks for replacement parts to arrive. Ok, they had holiday and emergencies etc. and my issues aren't that bad so I put myself on low priority in order to have the mechanics full concentration and enough time for my baby.

I hear you. They had my part and then i took my car in as well, it still took them 3 1/2 days to repair it or replace it. They told me they have only 1 mechanic trained to work on crossfires.

By the way..i have a black coupe but i love the sapphire blue!

My dealer only has one trained as well. But they told me any of the mechanics can work on the crossfire but the trained mechanic must inspect the job. For most of the warranty work that was done on my car it doesn't matter who does the work. They can all replace parts. The last time my car was in for warranty work they replaced the cup holder, reflashed the ECU, replaced the radio, lubricated the spoiler per the TSB. Complied with the TSB on the rear deck lid and replaced the drivers seat motors. Dropped the car off at 8 am and got a free rental (PT Cruiser) and picked up the car at 5 pm the same day. I don't bring it in till they have all the parts in stock.

not a bad deal. Did they replace the cupholder w/ another one just like it or w/ a storage bin i've read about?

They put the same one in. The TSB wasn't out yet. It came out about two weeks later. I would love to have it but I don't want to ask just yet. The new one may break and then I will get the storage bin.

Well I picked my car up today. The interior light flicker was just a bad connection between the bulb and the power supply, which was fixed by tightening the bulb. The dealer also replaced the vents on the headlamp housing, which I did not ask them to do. I asked them to replace the entire housing so that there would be no water spots on the inside. The service manager insisted that they did but when I showed him the water marks he ate his own words. This was all the dealer did in the week and a half they had my car. Literally the only thing that was fixed right was the interior lamp, nothing else. The service writer told me they painted the mirror housing and it didn't match so he ordered me another and would let me know when it comes in. I promptly let him know that he can kiss my as* and that my crossfire will never see that dealership again. I let the dealer know they can eat the parts they ordered and that I was going to call Chrysler tomorrow and report how horrible the service was. The entire staff became very apologetic but it was too late. My car was there for over a week and all they did was tighten a bulb. I wasn't even given a receipt!

On my way home I noticed that my car had an extra 30 miles on it. Can somebody explain to me why the car needed to be driven when nothing on the drivetrain was touched? As I pulled into my driveway my brother noticed that one of my HID look-a-like bulbs was missing. I guess when the tech removed my headlamp to replace the vent he broke the bulb and just replaced it with a stock H7. That was the last straw. I called the dealer and asked to speak with the GM or owner right away. I was then told that the highest person there was a salesman (who happened to be a friend of mine). I told him what happened from start to finish and all he could do was laugh. He told me everyone in service has been there for less than 5 months. The entire staff was replaced. He suggested I bring my car in tomorrow and raise hell, which I am. I'm going to go crazy when I get there tomorrow. A good friend of the family is an exec in detroit and is getting a call from my dad first thing in the morning. The dealer is going to be sorry they ever touched my car.

Sorry for the long post but I've never been this pissed at a dealer!

Pictures! Or even a movie ... please! lol

Seriously, good luck with those pr**ks.

My replacing parts arrived at the dealer. The liftgate latch and the strange yellow plastic thing in the fuel intake. The mech planed a half day maximum.
