I went in to have my first oil change. One hour and 45 minutes later I saw my car go by. I asked if they were done with it, and they said they needed to wash it. Of course after spending the morning drinking coffee with them, I told them NOT to wash it. I needed to get to work

Well....when I went to get in the car, I noticed it still said 200 miles till the oil change was needed. So I asked to speak with the (only) Crossfire mechinac on duty. I asked him to please re-set the computer, so that the 200 miles would not show up.

LOL, after handing him my manual, and he was reading it to see how to do it, I knew I was in trouble. Needles to say, I grab my manual, thanked him and got the heck out of the lot.

Oh! he did say, if I found out how to do it, to just sneak down this certain driveway at the agency, and he would come out and do it Anyone have a clue how?

What a day! I am very concerned that if I really had a problem, I would have to take my car to Germany for repairs <g>

 

God I hope you checked your oil level. Some of these guys have only been putting in 5 or 6 qts.

 

My guess is you went to Autowest. How close am I?

 

Well, I never thought to check the oil level. But I sure will tomorrow.

No it was not Autowest, but a dealer in Davis......

Sure makes me wonder, why they would sell a great car like this, and not have anyone in that department, that knows anything....
