I have found two plugs under the passenger seat that are not connected. The cable colour of the first one is white/grey and black/grey the other is black/red and white/red. Does anybody know for what the cables are? Can you look under your pessenger seat if you find this cable and if they are connected? The passenger seat heating works and the seat move how they should!

 

prolly for a 8 way passenger movement that wasnt included.

 

You mean that my passenger seat can 8 way move also? Do you know how it works (connections)?

 

no, im saying that maybe those are the connectors if the passenger could do 8 way.

 

It is probably the wiring for the electric seat when the car is configured for other countries where the driver sits on the other side..

"Yesterday I talked to the dealer if it is possible to make the passenger seat 8 way because the passenger seat has an 8 way switch on it and the wires are present too. He told me it is no problem all what you need are the two extra motors (high up and down and the other one). You can use the original parts form the Mercedes Benz SLK. Maybe we find anybody who make it on his car and write an install instruction for all of us."

 

8 way seats for the passenger?!?!? Bah!!! They should be thrilled they get to ride in a Crossfire and sit there quietly and enjoy the experience. Lousy ingrates. 8 way passenger seats...INDEED!!!
