Default Buying a 2004 leftover ?

Hi
I know that you can get a good deal buying a 2004 leftover But any concerns about buying a car that was built 11/2 years ago, sat on the lot for 6-8 months , and is now really 11/2 years old ?????? and not been driven very much in that time ???
Thanks Joe Parisi Salem Ma.

Not true on the resale value...mileage actually has very little effect on bluebook values. I know...my '99 Mustang GT convertible with 12,000 miles is only a few hundred $ more than one with 50-60,000.

As a general manager of a chrysler dealership, the book value may not change that much, but there is not very many dealers that wouldn't pay over book value for a car with very low milage.and with the $7500.00 rebate that they have right now you can't go wrong with a leftover 2004 model.

Don't worry because your resale value depreciation isn't as much compared to when you bought it in 2004 for 35k. If you buy it now for 25k, the current resale value ( with mileage ) for used '04's is 20k which means you lost only 5k at the current resale value compared to the 15k we lost for buying our '04's at 35k

I'd get the 04 leftover, because you may never see 10k off a 05.

Bought mine over a week ago. 10k under MSRP. 13 actual miles (never been driven by anybody except a technician).

The dealer (Jim Rush GMC Chrysler, Bolivar MO) still has three others (listed on AutoTrader). Just don't try to get #16699, it's in my garage!
