Default Transponder Ring

Just semi-completed the sticky key fix but the wire from the transponder ring disconnected and I do not know where it should be attached.

It attaches to the SKREEM module behind the dash.
I believe someone got to the SKREEM through the center high air vent in the dash if I remember correctly.

I think I was wrong in saying you could get to it through the vent. I think you have to pull the instrument panel forward or even out. Sorry.

My RCM was returned, I reinstalled it and started the car. I then realized that the wire still was not attached to the SKREEM. Should it have started? My lower dash is still apart.

No , if the wire from the transponder ring is not connected to the SKREEM , it should not start. If it did , then I'm thinking the wire you have out is not to either. Or something screwy is going on.

I have been out of town, busy and the weather has not cooperated. I tried to start it today with both keys and all of the safety dash lights come on and I hear a noise from the engine compartment but no start. Very strange. I will attempt to remove the dash soon and reattach the wire to the SKREEN module. Thanks for the link! I did a search and could not find its location.
