Replacing skreem and ring
So as most know I have the 3 Stricks and your out problem so car motor turns over but does not run ...I was able to get to the skreem box behind dash without pulling the whole thing out I just removers the screws from the dash and slid it a side without removing all the cables and like exposing the box and ring...

Re: Replaceing skreem and ring
That's funny stuff ... but key will not work went to the store and bought new batteries fob light blinks red seems to work but not on car will. It not unlock or lock doors can't turn the key in any way .... do I have in some way re do my fob to new skreem???
Re: Replaceing skreem and ring
The fob may have to be reset if the batteries were out too long or dead too long, try a fob reset anyway.
Did you try to jiggle the steering wheel left to right/right to left while trying to turn the key?
Did you find where the spring went?

Re: Replaceing skreem and ring
I believe that when the key is pushed fully a lock that prevents turning the key and the steering wheel lock is unlocked. Perhaps you did not connect that mechanism correctly. It is underneath the ignition switch and can be seen in the Sticky Key Fix. CLICK

Re: Replaceing skreem and ring
The SKREEM does not determine if the key turns or not. I would suggest that you have put something back correctly this time that you did not do the previous time.
