How do I convert my Xfire to run on e85?
How do I convert my 2004 Crossfire to run on e85? I know I will need a new fuel pump. If you've done it, is it worth it? Did you notice a difference in power/performance?
Bikecop was the only one I knew that ever did the conversion. It didn't make him any faster. The car now resides in St Louis. It was converted back when he sold it to Frank Rauscher. Maybe Frank can shed some light on the subject. Bikecop is no longer on here.
In a N/A wouldn't be worth it, in a forced induction motor, could be, since getting more fuel helps lower air temps and can run more boost without detonation.
in a N/A to be worth it would need alot of motor work, to raise the compression.
