Default Rubber things

Hey, I got these rubber things with my package that had the license plate stuff in it. The picture shows them going like behind the tire. I got 4 of them. I was wondering what are they for? Is it necessary to put them on b/c i tried and couldn't get one on.

i would have the dealer install them for you...this should have been completed during dealer prep.

the plugs will keep the water out of the area.

yep...4 round rubber plugs about 1.5" in diameter.

head to the dealer for install...takes only minutes to install.

Yes, my Dealer forgot to install the plugs, which is part of the prep. So I just took the car back and they installed them, which they should have done in the first place. The only thing I could figure out was maybe they plug holes that are used to tie the cars down in transport?

Again thanks to this forum I found out something more about the Xfire. I did not know what the rubber things where for. The dealer put them right in for me after I showed them to him.

I followed the posts, but I still don't know what rubber things you're talking about. Has anyone a pic? It sounds to be quite important: keeping water away...

Thanks
