How many of these are left?
How many of these are left?
DTMenace and I were talking this summer about original equipment and I showed him my original battery on my 2005 coupe. Given these are probably becoming uncommon after 13 years (in my case), we thought pictures would be nice to post. The battery is still holding on to life, but just barely. The trickle charger now takes ~ 12 hours to go green after the Crossfire makes a one hour trip out of the garage.
The other terminal had a black cap that is now trapped out of reach by the engine.

Re: How many of these are left?
I still have my original battery in my srt6. It works just fine, didnt put on the trickle charger all summer, and my car was down for a month doing tranny mods....fired right up afterwards. They are good batteries for sure!! My 93 cobra is on its second battery now, maybe they don't make batteries like they used to. As a side note, my cars are NOT daily drivers(never were either) and they stay garaged all year long, so maybe that helps with battery life!
