Default Hood pad/insulation

Chipmunks or squirrles have had a field day chewing the insulation pad under the hood of my 2004 crossfire. I can't find a replacement part. Any guidance would be appreciated.

Mine is in the garage, not useful and impedes cooling, be done with it. Woody

My black roadster doesn’t have one and I haven’t seen any detrimental effects as a result. I actually like it better without. I will probably remove the others eventually.

Thanks all. In storage for the winter but come spring it will be gone. If it bothers me I guess I could always buy some matrerial and make a template. A friend of mine told me peanut oil is used in making the wiring insulation and that attracts the critters. Don't know if thats true but kind of make sense. Also experienced chewed wiring, just soldered back together. Squirrels= a rat with a tail.

I've had mine for 11 years and it didn't have a pad when I got it. Never and problems.

I spread mothballs around and under the car for winter storage. In theory, the stink offends the little critters and it seems to work.
