Has anyone had their door handles chromed? I now have the chrome grille and the chrome side vents and think that the door handles need to be chrome also. I know about the inserts that CTD sell that go behind the door handles, but what I want to do is to remove the handles and send them out to be chromed. Any one done anything like this?

If you are interested In chroming your door handles, I would suggest you go online. Look for a company called the Alsa Corp. They can chrome anything & also use different shades of chrome for a tinted chrome effect. Looks cool! My Name is Cory I am new to this site. I just bought a 04' Crossfire Graphite Gray. Cory, congrats on your purchase. I just picked up my '04 Graphite/Cedar 6-speed last saturday.

Back on topic, I would love to have the silver accents chromed. I wouldn't go for a very flashy chrome, I was actually thinking about a black tinted chrome. I had a few black chrome parts on my '02 PT Cruiser and they looked great.

 

Try Formymercedes.com they may have the chrome door handle cover. Some chrome products of some Mercedes models will work in our Crossfires.

 

Hi, I love the Graphite color. Congrats on yours as well. Yeah, it would be great if they sold replacement door handles or the side fins in chrome. But, unfortunately they do not. On the bright side, The Alsa corporation can chrome any plastic items & they look as nice as any real chrome out there. They can do different shades of chrome. You can look them up on the web. Ummm, CTD Germany has the side vents in chrome and I have them on my car.
