Recommendation of a tool set...
.......that covers most of what I will encounter while doing repairs. I only have a US socket set, and an incomplete metric. I have seen this discussed before but can’t seem to find it.
many thanks,
many thanks,
The car is LOADED with what are called "external star" or "external torx" head bolts and some metric hex-key head bolts.
I have two sets, the small external star and the larger external star. That, some flat and phillips screwdrivers and a good metric hex key set are good to have.
Just look at the bolts holding the, for example, alternator....

Hello again pizzaguy! I've taken advantage of a couple of tips from you in the past and I thought I'd ask you about a new concern of mine. I've found out there's a tool that would be very useful to me for finding out about problems with my 2004 Crossfire Coupe before they bite me: the Diagnostics Tool DRB III! Unfortunately, said tool appears under a variety of forms/configurations and prices, from under $100.00 to well over several thousands o $$$.$$?!?!?! How can I decide which one to buy?
