Default Aftermarket Damper / Shock Recommendation ???

Anyone know of any GOOD aftermarket dampers / shocks available for the crossfire :?: :?: I blew my left rear at the track yesterday and instead of replacing the OEM I might as well upgrade to Koni, Billstein etc...

I've been thinking about Koni shocks. Most of the 350Z and BMW folks seem to think the world of them for autocrossing.

How did you blow a shock???

Really stupid mistake while replacing my OEM springs with Eibach... My mechanic and I punched eachother... Then started making calls for a replacement shock which are all special order, so we decided to do what I did on my other sports cars... Upgrade to Koni's, which are fully adjustable... So we ordered #8041-1228 Sport for the front and 8041-1229 Sport for the rear... These are spec'd for the SLK32 AMG and the factory told me they would fit the crossfire without mods... I should get them by next week and will let you know...

Default Installed A Set of Koni's

:P Great choice... Put in a set designed for the SLK and what a difference it makes... installed the rear first, then took it for a spin in the canyon... Didin't realize how soft the OEM shocks were till I had Koni's on the back... Stiff as a board... Perfect sportscar ride now...
