Nothing goes under the carpet unless you are missing the bottom panel over the storage area. You can do a search on Ebay and see what you are missing.

Bottom panel?
Do you mean these foam blocks that fill the wells?

The trunk interior.

The carpet is stiff, there are two foam inserts and you need to rotate the photo of mine to see how they fit into the trunk.
There are three side panels, a carpeted one on each side and a plastic one on the rear face.
There are two roof beige panels, you can see the bottom of the passenger side one in my previous photo. These top panels are bitches to fit as you have to line up the press-fit fasteners.
The side panels have to be removed to get the foam inserts out.
The roof liner will fall when the material separates from the foam backing which is glued to a hard pressboard backing.
There is also the carpet that goes up the rear wall of the bulkhead.
See the parts list for parts required. CLICK
Go here for a collection of Crossfire manuals, and parts etc. It includes the above parts list. CLICK
