Cool Changing throttle Body on my '05 Coupe Limited

Hi to all. I am considering changing the throttle body on my Crossfire, as a performance enhancement. I see Needswings sell second hand TB out of the SRT-6 as a performance upgrade. I am wondering if they are actually any different to the original TB in my Limited, as I rang the local Chrysler dealer here in New Zealand and they said the TB for my coupe and the SRT-6s, are the same part number. Are the SRT-6 TB the 74mm bodies, I have seen discussed previously on the forum? Is it pretty much a waste of time? Cheers

The dealer is wrong the TBs are different, that is a common mistake as parts lists list the wrong numbers.
Without some other mods to help increase the air flow it is probably not worth it. I’ll list the mods after dinner.

Yes, the SRT6 TB is 74mm and the NA TB is 68mm.
Surprisingly, the intake manifold inlet on the NA is 74mm, so nothing needed there.
Ensure that all the input piping to the 74mm TB is at least 74mm, and re-use the old 68mm MAF,
To get most performance, you will need a tune, Eurocharge or whatever.
Before starting, make sure you have a new O ring.

Thank you for your response. It sounds like the way to go, along with perhaps a Needswings CAI and a specialized tune. Cheers.

Hi everyone, I want to purchase eyebrows for my crossfire. Please advice me who actually sells them?

I checked one website which offers eyebrows but it seems to be weird, because nobody answers to emails and the phone number seems to be illegit.

I found them here: https://crossfireaccessoriesandmore....black-eyebrows

Should i still order them or this site is no longer existing and i will just spend money for nothing??

You might get a better response if you post this under exterior lighting instead of throttle body replacement?

My browser does not let me see that site. If it is the site I think it is you had better stay away.
If the car shown in the ads is an Aero Blue SRT stay miles away. Bad vibes from that site although some have been satisfied.

I did see the site on the thread you started, the best ones came from a member here and possibly some from Germany (CTD) which appears to be gone. The ones you mention are flat and thin, the good ones are thicker and tapered in the thickness. Search for Eyebrows on this site for pics.
