Default 2006 40K service advice

Guys we have a 2006 with 40K I want to ensure she gets any and all service to keep her for several more years.

We put low miles on her and make sure the oil is changed regularly.

I feel like I want her inspected by an expert (I am not a mechanic) and am feeling tempted to take her to the dealer for this but also afraid they will rape me $$$$ ---- any advice on how to proceed?

thanks!

You have been a member here eight years and you think taking a Crossfire to a Chrysler dealer is a good idea? I see you have made seven posts - apparently, you have only read seven posts - because ANYONE who spends ANY TIME here knows enough to stay the hell away from Chrysler dealers unless you are taking a Chrysler product in for service.

The Crossfire is not a Chrysler product, it is a Mercedes product. The dealer will not only charge you way more than is reasonable, they will likely return the car to you with issues you don't have now - especially if they really DO try to do ANYTHING including an oil change - which they WILL screw up.

Read my sigline, then go find an independent shop known for Mercedes experience. ..............................................

ALSO, if you fill out your profile so we know where you are, many of us know of local shops that are good places to go.
With no location given, how do we know where to send you?

I wasn't looking for a hard time. You're a moderator or admin?

I'm in Wilmington DE.

If anyone has anything useful to offer I'd appreciate it otherwise I'd rather you not respond at all.

If that's asking TOO MUCH - please remove me as I definitely don't belong here.
