Default Clean AC drain possible??

Cleaned my cowl area and replaced my AC fan and I do see water coming out of the middle of the car in front of the Y pipe area so the AC drain is clear but my question is should I ever clean the AC drain If so how?? I did not find anything in search . Thanks

It would depend how far up the chain you want to go.

To access the drains in the car you need to remove the side panel of the center console in the footwell area. Once you have the area clear you will find one drain on either side wrapped in foam.

You can spray some cleaner down the tubes, going up really wont do much.

There are a number of cleaners that claim to clean things by foaming up the vents and over the heater elements. Know that all that gunk does have to drain out through those drains.

I normally use lysol spray into the system when I change the cabin air filter spray in the direction of the center of the car with the fan on low to carry the spray into the HVAC box, that gives you a chance of getting on the parts inside and kill off any mold or mildew.

sounds like something I will leave be, just did not want it to get clogged and cause damage like the cowl drains did.
