Default I have a quick question ...

I am about to change the oil for the first time and noticed that the oil filter cap has an arrow pointing clockwise on it ... is this the direction that it needs to be turned to remove it?

no its not. there should be a spec next to the arrow that reads 25 N-m. The arrow indicates the direction the cap should be tightened.

Thanks greatly for that quick info ... greatly appreciated. Now I will not be tightening the filter to loosen it!
