Does anyone know the specs on the stereo in the LTD convertible, the one without the nav system?

How many watts per channel? Is there and amp, and where is it? Crossover specs?

IIRC, its a 240-watt system. Infinity amp and speakers, but I don't know the crossover frequencies.

 

It's under the carpeting in the passenger footwell. Maybe it has a sticker with the specs on it.

 

anyone one know what size the subs are?

 

the subs are 6.5".

i already tried switching them for Bazooka 6.5" dual voice coil subs that i got from ebay,
too big.
i don't think you could fit better subs in that spot.
because you have a plastic frame that fits around the speaker.
if you manage to change them let me know what speaker you got.

 

most likely, I will just unplug the suckers and put my 2 12" infinity kappa perfects in the car. unless someone wants to buy them off me!
